ERP for Plastic & Moulding Manufacturers

From granule to dispatch — one cloud platform for Indian plastics and injection-moulding makers. BOMs by mould, cavity and material grade, weight-based granule costing with regrind, MRP and manufacturing orders, batch traceability and GST e-invoicing.

✅  Built for Indian plastics manufacturers — multi-cavity moulds, regrind and Indian GST, out of the box.

Why plastics & moulding shops outgrow Tally and Excel

A moulded part is not one fixed item — it is defined by its mould and cavity count, its polymer grade (PP, ABS, nylon, PC) and its masterbatch colour, and it is built from material bought by the kilo but consumed by shot weight. The moment you try to quote, cost and plan that in Tally plus spreadsheets, four things break:

🧩

BOM by mould, cavity & grade

The same part in PP, ABS or nylon — or a different masterbatch colour — is a different cost structure. Single-level BOMs can’t carry mould/cavity or roll up cost.

Weight-based granule costing

Granules are bought by the kg but priced by shot/part weight, plus runner scrap and regrind. Costing each part by hand is slow and error-prone.

Granule buying is guesswork

Run out of a grade or masterbatch and the machine stops; over-buy and cash sits in the godown. Excel can’t net a moulding plan against stock.

OEMup: MRP nets demand against stock and open POs, plus reorder alerts on fast-moving grades. MRP software →

Batch & lot traceability

Parts ship in lots tied to a shift, machine and material batch. When a recall or rejection hits, a register can’t link a lot to its genealogy.

OEMup: batch & lot tracking by shift, machine and material batch — full genealogy from granule to dispatch.

One platform, granule to dispatch

OEMup covers the whole moulding-shop workflow — no stitched stack, no per-machine installs, India-first GST defaults out of the box:

Plastics & moulding ERP — FAQ

Why do plastic manufacturers outgrow Tally and spreadsheets?

A moulded part is defined by its mould, cavity count, polymer grade and colour, and is costed by shot weight with scrap and regrind. Tally and single-level spreadsheets can’t explode that BOM, cost a part by shot weight, or plan granule purchases against a moulding schedule. A manufacturing ERP does all three.

Can OEMup handle the same part in different polymers, grades and colours?

Yes — multi-level BOMs with mould, cavity and material-grade variants, so each grade or masterbatch colour rolls up its own weight-based granule cost automatically.

Does OEMup handle weight-based granule costing and regrind?

Yes — material is bought by the kg and costed into each part by shot/part weight, with runner scrap % and regrind handled in the BOM so the costed weight reflects what actually melts in.

Can OEMup plan granule purchases against a moulding schedule?

Yes — MRP explodes your orders and moulding plan through the BOM, nets granule and masterbatch demand against stock, reservations and open POs, and tells you what to buy and what to mould, by when.
